Levels

Companions only gain XP by being fed companion points. Each level raises their Xenobiology bonus, and every companion evolves twice before the level cap, changing its look.

Feeding affects that companion only, not the whole species.

Duplicates

A spare copy can be merged into another companion of the same species, turning it into XP. Copies that have been fed cannot be merged.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics are bought in the Premium Store, equipped from the Slots tab and only change looks.

• Aura and particles follow the companion to any slot.
• Background, frame and nameplate belong to the slot, whatever companion is in it.

One piece can be used on all three slots at once.
