The main activities

  • Gathering: collect different types of materials from up to 8 distinct body types, like planets, comets and nebulas
  • Battling: defeat different types of enemies to earn credits, and for a chance at items, blueprints, catalysts and materials
  • Exploring: be the first to discover new systems across the galaxy and contribute to the Atlas
  • Crafting: combine materials to obtain new equipment for your ship

Later on you also get access to Squadrons, Dungeons, Base Building and more.

How offline progress works

Battling and gathering run server side, so you do not need to keep the game tab open. Your clones and droids keep working while you are offline, and each action takes 60 seconds.

What keeps them running is your offline window: you keep generating actions as long as you logged in within the last 24 hours, or 72 hours with an active premium subscription. Logging in resets the window. Once it expires, battling and gathering stop until you come back.

You can extend it with bonus offline minutes from the Premium Store, at 1 Stellar Token per minute, added on top of your 24 or 72 hours.

Other things keep running offline regardless, like the Laboratory queue or the engine cooldown while exploring.

TL;DR:

  • Focus on Gathering and Battling first. Assign your droids and clones to whatever you find interesting, you can reassign them anytime.
  • Battling gives you credits, your main currency, needed to upgrade droids and clones and to unlock Laboratory buildings.
  • Gathering gives you the resources the Laboratory and other activities need.
  • Take your time to understand each activity before spreading yourself thin.
